Reconstruction was ultimately successful due to the positive political, social, and economically impacts it brought about for the union. It allowed African Americans to receive an education, it brought the union to guideher, and it ratified the thirteenth, 14th, and fifteenth amendments. Reconstruction lasted from 1865 to 1877 and was a period of era when the United States began to remodel the union after the destruction from the Civil War. This period of time unified the Africans Americans socially through churches and public schools. It permitted them to stay join with their families and were not forced to work for plantation deliverers or anyone in the union, which was completely unheard of during the slave days. Along with that the churches that were formed in addition made it possible for Black communities to reunite and practice their own culture, which was very beneficial in forming various organizations and for networking purposes. Moreover these churches not further gave the Blacks an opportunity to practice their own religion, just now as well as taught them how to read and write and provided them with job training (Littell). This gave them the necessary acquire needed to work in factories and other workplaces and not only on plantations like before.



Therefore this also benefitted them economically because they sure jobs with higher pays in the union after they were free from their plantation owners.
Reconstruction also ratified three major amendments, though the 14th amendment did not benefit the slaves directly where it only prevented states from denying privileges and rights to U.S. citizens, whereas the 13th amendment illegalized slavery throughout the United States and the 15th amendment allowed the Africans Americans to take officious role in the government. The 15th amendment not only permitted them to vote, but also for the first time allowed them to hold office positions in local, federal, and state governments.
