The Powers of the Federal Government
One issue in politics is the amount of power that the federal government should be allowed to make believe. One spot believes that the government should be there, helping us, only if we shouldnt be commensurate to nonice their presence. The other side believes that the government should actively participate in the e preciseday lives of citizens. In the United States today, the power of our government tends to lean towards the former of the two. We fuck that the government is there, protecting us, providing for us, and ensuring that our lives ar good. But they do not actively interfere in our lives unless they have a very good reason. The federal Government should only have exuberant power to understand the security and happiness of its citizens without encroaching on their everyday lives.
One thing our government does is ensure our security. each state has an active police force. Even though we chance upon police cars and officers every day, they are not allowed to interfere with our lives unless they have probable ca engage. A police officer has to catch you in the act of breaking a law to be able to approach you and give you a ticket or hold you. They also have to get a search warranty to be allowed to search whatever of your property.



If they search your car, your house, or any of your possessions without a search warrant and find anything illegal, they arent allowed to use that as evidence in a case against you. These regulations ensure that our police forces are there to assist us in keeping our country safe, but not to get in our way if we arent doing anything wrong. The government also controls our military. The military protects us from any outside forces that could threaten our lives and property. If there is an international contest going on, many times the military will go to help solve it. The military also helps if there are any natural disasters.
